I think you are in the wrong area. Do you have a S-Type or a XJS? You posted in the S-Type

I think the thought of wrong place is because you do not have the S type car listed under your screen name, but other jag models.

You could start by looking at the volts on each side of the valve as you change each side's setting from cold to hot. If the volts move properly then I suppose it's a faulty valve and if they don't then the CCM looks suspect.

You said that you replaced the DCCV, my procedure is geared towards its replacement and your car is different MY but a little information might help. I have a link to jaguar climate http://jagrepair.com/DCCVSType.htm that has a trouble shooting procedure that should help. I also have wiring diagrams if you do not have one for your car.

there a 2 circuits. If you repair the drivers circuit, dont you think that MAYBE the pass circuit blew now too. it happens to both sides and not always both at the same time

i was thinking that but, wouldnt the passenger circuit blow only if the valve died? i hope not !!
when i looked at the board i dont see any burned marks, ill check out the wiring diagram
and try to see if i can find the circuit.

Yea, that would make sense. Remember that sometimes the circuits in the CCM don't go along with the DCCV. When I had my 05 it took months for the CCM to act up after a DCCV replacement, and even then it still worked just made the display flash. Mine was warranty so I never did break it open. The dealer just replaced it.

I would look at the CCM for the passenger circuit and put a wire patch on that as well and see if your issue doesn't clear up.
