Default Hello All...

Just stopping by to say hey. Its been a long time and a lot has changed. Hope everyone is well. I was looking for another STR and wasn't finding what I was after and ended up getting another car. I will always miss my STR but I have something new to play with. For those that knew me, I finally graduated and took a job in Atlanta. Hopefully in a few years I'll return to Jags when the Ftype I want gets into my price range.

Helloooo Chris!

Awfully nice of you to drop by after all this time. It would have been great to see you back with another STR. I take it you still have the bikes. Whats the new role in Atlanta, Hip Hop recorder? Most things have changed here over the years but some of us (not many any more) still are diehards with our beloved S Types!

Howdy, glad to see you're still around. I still have the bikes but currently trying to sell one of them. I don't commute on them anymore so I'm gonna keep the one I tend to ride the most and sell the other. I took a job as an engineering consultant specializing in building envelopes. I actually got offered a position in Charlotte but the Atlanta offer was a better fit. I was looking for a low mileage 05 STR but wasn't finding much and then started looking for XKR Portfolios with Alcons. Then I got a convetible itch so I went with an Infiniti G37S. When the F type convertibles drop in price some for used ones I want to get a V8 one. That will be a few years. Hope everything is good your way.

Great to hear from you, Chris. I was wondering about your whereabouts just yesterday. I assumed you had graduated from N.C. State and moved away for a new job. Enjoy Atlanta and stop by the forum any time. As Rick said, there are a handful of us still here with our S-Types....

Boy, was I ever sorry to see you go.
Boy, am I ever pleased to hear you are still around.

Too bad about the STR - for me, the ultimate Vance580 video would be one where you show how to install Avos' 200 HP twin-screw upgrade.

In any event, welcome back!

+ 101 on all of the above and still around Vance, great that you dropped by, you're always more than welcome here, Jag owner or not.

You're "how to" posts in the S type section have helped so many to overcome issues along with other legends both past and present.
Hope all is well with you n yours?

Best
Jim

I would of liked to do that video. I looked for a few months for an STR but just wasn't seeing what I was after. Maybe in the future. If they keep getting cheaper I may just pick one up to play with once I'm more settled. I do really want an F type though.
