engine swap
There isnt anything cheaper than a jag 3.0 engine, used they are less than $500 but Id recommend paying an extra $500 and getting a nice low mileage one (< 75000), these are pretty bulletproof engines so once you have a good one and 99.99% of them are good, you should be fine if you take care of it,.
