Default Help finding where this cable plugs in

2000 Jaguar S-Type 4.0L

I took the right passenger foot climate control vent tube out and this cable is ziptied to it. I have been on the floor digging around under the dash for an hour and I can't find where it plugs in. Perhaps it's one of the many that just sits unplugged?

It has
USASPEC CD CABLE
125C OFT (7∅) LG cable
Written on it.

Any help is much appreciated.

All the fascia to body loom connections are behind the covers on both ends and are sized differently to avoid confusion. You might try to see if there is a missing connection in that area, but I don't recall seeing that particular connector on the vehicles I removed the fascia from.

The first MY of X200 production had the CD Changer in the glove cubby mounted to the steel cross member.

Later cars moved the changer to the boot where the harness connector was relocated.

I installed MANY changers to the first year cars in the glove cubby with the kit from the parts dept.

With that many wires and it looks like shielded to me... I vote audio related.
