I can't open my trunk by pressing the button on the dash board but it opens if I'm using the remote. Do you haveany clues what could be the problem?...I bet the dealership will charge me a lot)

Press the button on the trunk and see if it opens that way. If it doesn't, then open your glove box and look for a button that says "VALET". Press it and try again on both the inside button and the button on the trunk. If it still doesn't then...[&:]

 

Yep I did it! Last night when I was getting ready to go to work I opened the glove compartment and I pressed the"Valet" button. I remembered that Saturday I pressed it and I thought it's not working,I thought that the glove box will be locked

when first purchased my 01 s type , mine did same thing, under the truck lid mine has a small key hole that will unlock and open the trunk lid , hope this helps
