Help! Sporadic electronic glitch - suspect climate control module
Hi All,
Love my 2005 S-Type 3.0L, but lately two issues I believe are related have sprung up. 1) after 90 min -2hrs of continuous use, the vehicle goes into a weird "safe mode". the engine runs at a higher idle but will not accelerate. the THREE faults displayed on the instrument panel are: DSC not available; Parkbrake Fault; Engine systems Fault. If I shut the vehicle off for 10-15 seconds, it will resume normal operations. The second issue is the climate control only blows max heat 100% of the time, unless completely shut off. I'd rather fix this myself if at all possible!
Thanks for any advice!!

I agree with the battery check...

I recently diagnosed the system, replaced my DCCV and repaired the CCM following their guides.
Also if you search "DCCV" on this forum you will gain masses of info, advice and tips on what to do and what not to do...
Cheers,
