Welcome to the forums!

What is your starter doing or not doing? Starters are not that common to go bad on our beloved S Types.

The starter on the AJ34S is located under Bank 1 cylinder head, on the RH side of the vehicle.

How many kilometres/miles are on the vehicle?

What are the symptoms?

Im not so sure if it痴 really the starter doing it but I was told it could be my start.

when I turn the key to start the car, times before turning turn off on. I brought a new battery and went and check my alternator Nd it was fine

but it still has a little lag when I知 turning it on , but after it痴 on it runs great
just worried about the start up lag

Step #1 is to check the status of the charge on your new battery. A fresh battery off of the shelf will rarely be at a full charge. If you are not confident checking the battery, most parts stores will do this gratis...

thanks A lot , I really felt like that was the problem, because I didn稚 have this issue before with my other battery - I went to autozone to charger my battery to see it would change the way it starts up Nd they gave me a new battery off the shelf since I had warranty. After that I kept having electrical issues- car shut off on me - I went to charge that battery Nd it died on me again after that . Now I recently got a new battery again and it痴 been working perfect since . But today when I start it up will judge if the start up will be lagged ...... I really felt as if the other battery was the problem

Let us know how you get on... You also might want to stop by the New Members Forum and post a brief "Intro" as it is the expected thing to do here on the forums.
