High Altitude Problem? 2003 S-Type 3.0
I'm a newbie on S-Types but I'm trying to help my neighbor. Long story short.....
Car was running very well on weekend jaunt. While travelling over and about some Oregon mountains...6500 feet altitude or so....engine started bucking badly, conked out. Cranked OK but no start.
Neighbor had car towed home (huge tow bill).
*Of course* the car now starts and runs fine. No codes. All scan data looks normal....as I would expect since the engine is now running nicely.
I know the problem could be....well...just about anything. Other than "...it felt like the fuel pump was going out" I have nothing to go on.
Here's the question:
Does the *high altitude* aspect of this problem ring any bells with anyone? I know it could be entirely coincidental that the problem happened at high altitude but I'm just wondering if there's an "Ahhhhhhh HA!" moment in all of this
Thanks
