Hot Cold air issue - next step help?
I read what could be fixes but then as I get further in I find the year is different or the issue is different so here goes my specifics:
2001 stype 3.0l Gasola
Had no heat. Replaced the DCCV, got heat back, it got warm here last week, I now have heat on the driver's side and cool air on the passenger side with or without A/C set to LOW.
Reset the auto. Ran temo all the way up and all the way down.
Hot pipes (DCCV good?)
I gather I have sensors only in this year? No evap or humidity sensors?
door actuator problem?
What should I confront first?
Are the pics posted of the sensor's location under the dash the same for 2001?
Thanks for any input. 2001.

I had read that but after going through all the pages I end up at a page that suggests a broken/burnt trace I then find it's not an issue on the 2001. Someone suggested the blend door, which I suspect is the actuator.
Trying to get the jtis going again...OS issues.... I've checked the parts list but nothing there. Please can someone look at 2001 and tell me how many actuator/blend doors there are in 2001 3.0L ? I see one behind the glove box and it seems to be the re-circulation control (it works), is there one or two more? I have hot air on vents and floor drivers side. DCCV has been replaced, pipes are hot. This is my narrow down. Thanks!
You could have fried the CCM. Typically when the DCCV goes, it takes the CCM with it. It happened to my 2005 S-Type but luckily I got them fixed under warranty. Here is a thread that has some info on repairing the various A/C bits.

If you have blend door problems it should set a code. Have you checked? A normal code reader probably won't pick up these types of codes.
Plus you can check them yourself pretty easy? Move the controls to different vent positions and see if the air flow follows.
I agree with carelm. It sounds like a climate control module problem. Have you removed it to look at it?
Have you cleaned the sensor above the ignition key?

I was only ruling out the CCM because following the diagnostics on those links was a dead end for a 2001, as in it was not usually an issue in that year.
Will have to take it in for a better code reader then.
Cleaned the ignition key one, yea, it was pretty bad but no change.
The air does follow to different vents but the temp only changes on the right side and not the left.
So if it is an actuator, is there more than two? Because I know one is OK (behind the glove box). I bought one so far, but before I start hauling the dash off.....
