Yea good luck with the charge back if you go that route. I aws screwed on a charge back for wheels when a company sent something I didn't order. Had that CC for 12 years and they sided with the vendor who was so wrong it wasn't funny. I paid all the card off but the desputed amount and cut it up and fought it. Having great credit has it's advantages

ALWAYS USE YOUR AMERICAN EXPRESS. They have never given me a problem once when it came to chargebacks -- I've seldom done it in my life, but when I have they were right behind me.

Luckily the shop I went to did a MARVELOUS job that I was thrilled with (see my BORLAFLOW thread). I was a bit nervous at first because despite the shop's great reputation in the NYC area and the wonderful owners the dudes working were a bit hood and non-chalant, but the guys skills (as a cigarette dangled from his mouth) were on point.

Charge it back, and be sure to write negative reviews on every internet website you can find. Citysearch, and yelp to name a few.

Chris, I love the Borlas. She breaths better, great sound, but just a tad less low end torque. Wondering if returning to 2.25" pipe will help? Will see what the blower rebuild/port will yield, then either do 2.25" or keep 2.50"?

LOL at the shady cig dangling. My guys are the same way if I didn't know they were the best I would have been concerned as well.

BFS... Glad you like the Borlas! I am loving mine now with the magna packs on them. I have to get a bid of it in the dyno sounds like it's make 500 ponies!

Seth you are the man. You've gone through about a dozen exhaust configurations and you're still going. The straight through design does effect the low torque a bit but the pulley and intake (and eventual remap that I've got brewing) will be just what the doctor ordered.

BTW, A slight increase in MPG with the new exhaust as well.

Well I called the owner one last time this morning to give him one last chance. He actually shocked me he said he was so upset yesterday (yeah right) that he called his distributor that he gets his cats from and he informed him he needs to redo it. So he told me he would take it all apart reweld. replace and do what it takes to fix it hopefully. I actully think he got spooked cos what he done was illegal. I still have my doubts he will fix it right.

Time will tell he is going to fix it Tuesday.

There's some good and bad news in that post there Achysklic... The good is that you're getting the replacement parts, the bad is that you're going to let him touch your kitty again... Hopefully he does it right and redeems himself, but at this point, my hopes are low for him and high for you.

Hmm....I agree I don't know if that is a good development or not. Of course you are inclined to let him have it and redo the job since it will save you some money. But is it going to add to the problem/aggrevation since these guys apparently can't weld in the first place.

I guess if I were you, I'd probably let him have another go at it. Maybe he will supervise the job a little better since he knows you'll be up his **** about it when it's done and you are not the type of customer to just assume they did it right without looking.

Ahh...4" FlowMaster tiips. Looks nice achysklik. Chris, I kept the 12" Walker glasspacked Race Bullet tube mufflers prior to the Borlas. What ya think about this? Should I do the 4" Magnaflow's?

theres nothing wrong with the cats. Ive used those many times before. My welds dont look great but theyre tight. And as long as the 02's are about in the same position on the pipe as OEM you should have no faults. Those are THE most common cats used for performance and even replacement of bad OEM cats
