I don’t know what’s wrong with my s type and I would apreaciate some pointers
My s type had been sitting for a couple of months Because the radiator busted so I got a new one and put it on after I turned it on and rid the cooling system of air I went for a ride and it was different so I plugged in my obd2 and come to find out it’s miss firing on cylinders 1,3,4,5,7 any idea of what could be wrong with it?
If the car sat for an extended time, there are two things to consider.
1) Make sure the battery is fully charged. These cars are very sensitive to low prestart voltage. I recommend hooking up an automatic charger overnight, something with at least a ten amp output. A trickle charger won't cut it.
2) Check the fuel pressure. The fuel pump is prone to problems after an extended period of inactivity. Read the fuel pressure with a scanner and compare to specs.
