Default totaled x type

Good morning all. I've got some bad news to report. After only 32 days and 1128 miles my recently acquired 2007 x type is officially totaled. My wife is thankfully ok but had the misfortune of rear ending a 3/4 ton dodge pick up with a 2 inch drop tow hitch. She was exiting the Baltimore Beltway at rush hour with the sun in her eyes and the truck stopped dead in front of her. She hit him at 35 mph. The real kicker is the tow hitch punctured the radiator and the side of engine block, total loss on a car I really liked. I'm back in the market and am thinking of an equivalent s type just for a little more room. I never even got to post pics of the x, sad.

Thanks for the sentiment. Cars can be replaced, loved ones can't.

Good to hear your wife wasn't injured.

Now she can help you with the S hunting.

Glad that your wife is OK, that's the main thing.

(still sweating here for a friend of my daughter's that was in a bad one on Monday. Left leg in 5 places, half a dozen ribs + sternum, punctured lung, ruptured spleen, ruptured liver).

Makes you think...

Best of luck with finding the right S Type.

Glad your wife is okay. Glad to hear the X-Type can protect us in a 35 mph collision. Now, go spank her.
