Should look cool on the S...
Very cool...That's how the logo appeared on the later (ribbed) valve covers of the E-types: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_jiLsBLaOvz...E+Roadster.jpg

Hey, despite all the differences there's one thing we share- both of us enjoy crossing our southern borders to get cheap booze and cigs in a third world country, right?

Seriously, the reason you know nothing about Canada is that your news media focuses only on the US and nothing else- unless it's something showing how farqued up and backwards another country is.

Always remember that all this special kit costs a fortune if it needs to be replaced or repaired. For instance Brembo brakes cost a fortune in pads and discs.

Question : Do you really need this stuff !! Better to just have the badge and save the rest of the money !! Nobody will be able to tell the difference unless you're in a drag race.

I have all the factory literature for 2005 S Type. They show three different two tone interiors for the STR at extra cost. They were known as “Portfolio” cars. Sounds like they changed the name in later years?? I am not a fan of the silver interior trim. Kinda like the wood on the steering wheel but can take it or leave it.

How about a "Star" race S Type??
Take a look:

Has a 7 L Chevy but I bet it's fast!!!

What, the lacking of a sense of humor?

In regards to our news media, I dont watch the news. I watch History, Discovery, Nat Geo, Military, A&E etc. etc......Still dont hear anything about you. Once in a while I'll hear about one random company or battalion of Canadian troops in WW2, but thats IT. And no, these networks are not just focused on the US, pretty sure the UK is doing ok and not "farqued up and backwards" and I hear and learn alot about them.

I believe you were insinuating we are a third world country when you say "our southern borders".

There ya go bud, maybe you do have a sense of humor after all.

Damn! I had a green one of the V8 Star race cars as a desktop picture for a while.... Never thought I'd see one for sale... Let's see 50k UK lbs, is about what, 75 grand US... Yikes.. Still, love to sneak a plate on it and blast down RT8.... Bet the Cuyahoga Falls PD wouldn't catch me in that... And if they did, they'd be too bowled over by it to write a ticket...

lol, yea xtype in alberta is a beast in witner. I remember after a snow strom, atleast a couple feet of snow, and the x type went through like nothing, leaving everything, i mean everything behind.

Well, we canadains do not like to acknoledge you guys.....jking lol.
Don't worry, when we turn communist, and build a wall, you guys have my permission to save us lol.

I like the wood dash, i don't mind the grey wood, but i rather have the natural wood style, but i want the painted surround's, im usre, you can purchase teh surronds serpate and just install them.

The xfr is my next step, i was thinking, i hang on to the x type, make it a winter nightmare car ( black on black on black). Wait a few years, if the xfr is still aound, purchase one, use it as a sunny summer day car, and the x type for those nasty days. You know, the ones where u can't get to you local tim hortons.

By the way, how is OUR tim hortons treating you guys down there, is a suitable replacement for dunkin donuts or maybe even mcdicks lol?

These are US based specialty channels. We get them here. 99% of the programs are produced in the US for the US audience. I thought WWII started when the Japanese bombed Berlin?
