Default Ignition coils 2000 S Type

So I changed the ignition coils in my s type and the car starts but then dies after idling for a short time

Where’s my eleven foot pole?

A few questions:

1) Is this a new symptom?

2) Why were the coils replaced?

3) What brand of coils did you install?

The rubber seal from the intake manifold shifted when I was setting it down and allowed for a massive air leak. Replaced the manifold with a new gasket, seated properly and I was on the road in about three hours. Also account change as old one was connected to a Facebook I no longer have access to, in case you're wondering.
