So after getting code P0174 I found a mouse had chewed yet again another wire. The rascal decided to chew the wire right at the base of the connector of the signal wire for the lower IMT valve on 2003 S-Type 3.0. I already went through this with some other parts.

I went to Jaguar but he did not have the proper replacement pins for the connector. I also managed to possibly botch the plastic clip part of the connector, the old pin might as well been super glued in...

Will try to have the dealer get me the proper pins but I hope if I did mess up the plastic clip that I can find it without finding a whole harness for that single connector.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have the same issue. Except my rodent was a squirrel. I have looked everywhere for this connector but no luck? Dealer only sells the entire harness. I did try and solder leads since there was no wire left but the check engine light is still on?

 

I expect a wrecker would have them and few buyers.

 

This ebay seller is selling the plenum without the connectors. I would give him a call and see if he has the connectors available. He is in N.M.
