Inlet plenum coming off!
Hi all,
I will be soon removing the inlet plenum for fitted of lpg. I will be replacing all gaskets, all spark plugs and the coil on the rear left hand bank.
Is there any thing else which needs replacing?
Its a uk late 2002/usa 2003 model.
Thanks Simon.h

Yea, we don't do the LPG thing in the US like it is done in the UK. Then again, we don't have pollution taxes to pay to just drive into a city either... Like bsfgross said, tuned in to see how this progresses.
I am not familiar with the MY2002 in Europe.
If it were me, I would have the elbow on hand along with valve cover seals for the "just incase". Valve cover seals are a common failure, as is the spark plug well seals.
They are included with the valve cover seals. Return if not needed.
Are your IMT O-rings yellow in color, if so replace those as well with the updated green colored ones. So much easier when the intake is off.

This has been discussed several times on the UK forum so you may as well read the existing threads there. You'll need more doing, such as a fuel return, or you'll get codes. I doubt it's cost effective on a 2002 car, especially a high-mileage 3.0.
OK, No need to yell! sir....
You could have phrased it better. I read your post to mean "what else do I need to replace to convert to LPG"
I quoted it below and kindly note how I re-phrased it to be more clear and result in better feed back...
" I will soon be removing the intake plenum to retro-fit a LPG system. While the required parts are off I plan on also servicing the spark plugs and coils that need replaced.
Could you please point me to other service concerns that you would look at while my 2002.5 (2003) 3.0 is apart. Hoses, gaskets, and other weak points on this particular engine."
See how clearer that is.....
BTW... Rick answered you question.. Look at those things...
