thanks alot dude, I appreciate that! SO if I am only replacing the wood, I won't have to take the entire console apart right?

Looks like only the upper section needs to be removed to get to the console veneer pieces.

For what I was hoping didnt happen, happened! The bottom console broke on both sides, and also I cant get the park brake to stay up now. I shouldn't have even messed with it. Any idea where I can get the lower console? SDZ Cashmere? and the park brake maybe i broke a spring? The plastic that connects onto the upper console broke off thats attatced to the cover, so IDK if that has anything to do with it? thanks...

The last thing you needed to happen.

If you identify your vehicle VIN range, I'll check the Parts Manual for the park brake parts.

The parts change from:
L38682 - L52822
L52823 - L86901
L86902 - M45254

Don't give you actual VIN on a public forum, just the range it's in.

Sorry to hear - I have a lower console but it's charcoal - bummer! You have to be gentle - our S Type's have some of the worst plastic construction known to man - you look at the tabs the wrong way and they'll break. On a more serious note, you have to be super gentle and have good prying tools when dealing with any plastic parts on your car.

I know a guy, who can get you a lower console for a good price - his email is: glmike1@gmail.com I have dealt with him in the past with good results - Good Luck
