Exclamation 2006 Jaguar S-Type R code P2676

Hey, I have a 2006 jaguar s type r that has a problem turning off when slowing down from 2nd to 1st gear sometimes and almost feels like the car is not reading the proper amount of air going into the engine therefore the engine just turns off. I have a code which is P2676 stating that it would be the Air cleaner inlet control-circuit low. However, I do not know if that has a relation to my problem and would love to fix or get some help because the car is uncontrollable if it turns off at low speeds and steering wheel locks. Thanks!

Did you ever figure out what was related to code P2676, I found that we shared similar problems and that I had a K&N intake. Another problem that I also have is that sometimes my engine will turn off when slowing down from 2nd to 1st gear at a constant speed and almost chocks out. This does not happen all the time but I feel like my RPM is fluctuating too much resulting in the engine turn off. I have a code which is P2676 stating that it would be the Air cleaner inlet control-circuit low. however, I do not know if that has a relation to my problem or if anyone could help!!
thank you

Was getting this same code as well, disconnected and reconnected the maf, reset the codes and now even though the car is actually running good and idling well, I’ve gotten these sets of codes… doesn’t feel to be misfiring but I’m not sure as to my next steps.

already have cleaned the maf with the proper cleaner for it, so I’m sort of stumped. Where could I get a replacement MAF that’ll work for the 06 STR? I know oem is the way to go but unsure of the best place to order one.

If your scanner reads the obd2 monitors check the misfire one for count data. It helps a lot even when you feel the car is running fine. I have a long post coming about my 3 year trans issues that are now resolved because of being able to see that monitor data cycles

Cleaning the MAF does not always work. The Denso part number should be molded into the top of the part itself. OE Denso parts should be available from a number of on-line sources. Parts Geek, FCP Euro, etc.

I would not look to Xavier Louis for input, as he has not posted in over three years...

Why are you even looking at the MAF?

You have ONE bank problems so it can't really be anything that's common to BOTH.

Chances are you have an air leak. Best move to a separate thread BTW.

Certainly understand that, but I’m just trying to get input to see if anyone’s ordered one recently and had good results.

Want to try and avoid getting a knockoff that’ll result in the car running poorly.
