Default Intro and my jag problem

my name is omole. i am frm Nigeria. I use jaguar 2003 model s type. I shiped it in from Belgium in 2010 as fairly used and i started using it in d year 2014. but recently i am facing a lot of stress on it. if i start my jag b4 d engine is hot i do enjoy it. but when the engine is hot i do face a heart breaking noise frm engine and d noise come like frm d back on driver side. it sounds like its cracking then d accelerating pedal will b little strong and d car wont move fast as it used to be. also when its on slower move or i match d brake d oil lite will come on on my dash board. This is really giving me headache. i will appreciate any assistance frm an experienced jag users.

Welcome to the forum Omole,

I've copied your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to S-Type forum.

Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Omole-

That's going to be tough to assist given the description. Sounds like there's more than one fault. Is the check engine light on?

Get the codes read, the sooner the better. Post the complete list of codes so we can see what's wrong.

Do you know how to get the codes?

We have some sticky threads at the top of the forum that have a lot of information.
Might be worth your while to look at them?

You can get the codes by using an OBDII code reader and most repair shops have one. They plug it in and read the existing trouble codes. When they read the codes you need to jot them down and post the codes on this forum and we will try to help with your problem. Do not pay attention to what they say they mean just give us the codes.
