Default Jag is Paid Off! Now, add HP?

I have a beautiful 05 Limited edition jet Black 4.2 S-Type Sport Pkg with the XK8 interior with burnt Silver Dash. It has an in service date of 4/30/06 and is under the Jag CPO Program till 4/30/2012. If you modify the exhaust and put the stainless steel exhaust on and modify the air intake will it void the warranty? Any suggestions on adding some HP without voiding warranty? I have 59,000 miles and this car is paid off! Thinking about upping the performance a little, I have a good mechanic. Anyone have any suggestions? I need to post some pictures, only 5- of these were sold in Georgia.

It's not an STR? If it isn't, swapping to an STR would be a good way

jagv8 is on the money if ya sell or trade her for an 03 up STR you'll be way ahead of the game of power. If not, then I may be able to help ya get that 300 hp to 330 hp. Drop in a K&N air filter and if possible modify an air intake elbow similar to that of the "Mafioso" STR air intake elbow. Then pop on a pair of Magnaflow (or similar) hi-flow cats and x-pipe. Continue down with the stock pipe, delete the stock resonator in favor of a pair of 12" to 14" Walker glass packed flow through tube mufflers leading to a set of hi-flow mufflers (Dynomax Super Turbo's, Magnaflow, etc.). Perform a hard re-set and drive her hard for a while in "Sport" mode with traction control disengaged. The growling exhaust note and new found spirited performance will impress you and a few other unsuspecting....

Without getting into the debate as to how much, if any, power those mods will make, you can pretty well kiss any drivetrain warranty goodbye if something goes bang.

agree, not much you can do to the N/A to get any more power. A few Hp by an exhaust, and the new intake...maybe a little more. I'd just be happy with the car as it is, keep it healthy with fluid changes, fresh plugs, maybe do a little 'exterior' mods...and if the need for speed is still there...the Rs will still be out there, and they'll be perfectly priced

My suggestion, get another Jag!!

Keep this one for daily driving, find a Cheap high mile 03-05 STR and goto town,

Ive seen some high milage STR's 150k mile range for 5-6K.
Trust me I know I've been eyeballing a few.

JJ, you'll very likely get that 330 hp from the air intake and exhaust mod I spelt out for your 05 4.2, but as I and others suggest; an STR is calling for you....
