I just recently bought a 2008 Jaguar S-Type. Does anyone know how to lock car doors from interior. I realized doors lock automatically when driving off. Thanks for your help.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. My '02 may be slightly different. There's a lock lever at each interior door handle. Push any lever and it locks all four doors. Was that what you were asking?

 

This is my 06 str. Lock button in between seat heater and hazard triangl button. Maybe similar

 

There are two ways to lock the car doors from the inside. The first is to use the lock leaver that is just under the door handle on the driver’s door. (The passenger side front will work as well.)
The other is to press the lock button on the dashboard as seen in the photo in scottjh9's post above.
However, please note that I think both functions can be disabled via the Jaguar SDD software, but why anyone would want to do so I do not know!
