Default Jaguar s type headlamps

I own a jaguar stype v6 2001 (not the type r one)
Um my headlamps have broken adjusters and the auto levelling thng isnt working. I suspect that the motor has malfunctioned. Plus the horizontal thumbwheel is just too smooth so i guess it isnt working.
Well since the headlamps are standard oem products. I want to know that can i replace them with smthng new gud bt still an oem product as in a projector headlamp with xenon etc just to add to the grace. Ifso please let me know the part number for the headlamp.

In my 2002 S-Type it's a piece of chrome plastic which has broken off somewhere. Not sure it's the same place where others have said theirs have broken as I checked. There is thread on this: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ype-faq-10745/
Copied from another thread as well: (Video Link)
Its actually not the self levelers that usually go. Its the housing that holds them breaks and they point at the ground. Here is a link to a video on what to do. I bet if you do that your headlights would most likely level again.

I am going to try to see if I can fix mine soon...Cheap crap parts.

Well... I tried to see if I could repair the lights by taking them out and reassembling them.. Too damn much work so I did the screw method. Works like a charm, instead of taking the bumper off.

I have a light that points up too far. Is it usually the same issue?

If you have a light up too far that is a whole new issue.

Go on Ebay - headlight adjuster kit - about $105 - search the forum for specifics and procedures for R&R - rather easy and the results are awesome!
