Jaguar S-Type R suspension
My STR is at 95k miles, i recently had an oil change and my mechanic reminded me that Jaguar recommends the shocks be replaced at 50k miles. As far as I know that has never been done on my car. I have never had any suspension problems with my STR, suspension feels smooth and quiet. Should I still have it done as a precaution or is it something that can wait?
Thanks in advance.

McJaguar - Yes, the rideability is controlled automatically by the electronic shocks. I saw the pics of your 03 STR - yes, you have them...
what does CATS stand for? (I am assuming it's an acronym)

Computer Active Technology Suspension - Yes, it's a good thing to have - great ride and feel...(as long as the shocks don't give out as replacement shocks are $350+ each)
Do check them for oil leakage. Especially the fronts. Almost all of them over time will start to get a bit oily/grimy and that's OK. You just don't want any drips. The CATS gives us a nice soft ride at low speed with much better control when things get fast.
I also really like the seat belt pre-tensioners. For auto crossing or aggressive cornering they hold you in place very good!! It was a bit weird the first time I felt it and had to do some reading to find out what it was. Never had a car that did that before!
