Clearly it's not impossible. However, it IS impractical and going to be very challenging. I'd love to see it done but it WILL cost more and be less good by far than just getting an STR.

Everyone is so reasonable here, nice to see. The simplest way to do it would be to fab up a rear mount turbo. I've seen it done for under 2k$. STS used to be a company that specialized in this, not sure if they are still doing it. I knew two people that did this to their ls1 camaro's; the sound was ridiculous and the power was spot on. Not ideal and not the most efficient, but bang for buck all the way. YouTube some rear mount turbo cars and have fun.

Kit + installation = more than the present day value of the car, assuming it fits and works.
