I need to change the oil on my 2005 S Type. I live in Mexico and want to know what the specs are? What type of oil can I use? I need multiple options if there are various options as we do not have access to anything and everything in the town I live in here!

Everything you could want to know about which oil viscosity and spec to use is in the owner's manual, page 7-8.

If you want individual opinions about which type/brand is 'best', hang on to your hat.

 

I didn't get the owners manual when I bought the car unfortunately. Any asistance would be great.

I'm a Tom, too. If I recall correctly, you have a 3.0 L V-6. I don't know the specs for oil on that engine but given that you appear to be in coastal Mexico (Baja California?) where it is warm, the oil is the easy part. Just use 10-30 or 5-30 (the spec on my 2005 4.2 L V-8). Use a good name brand oil. The hard part will be getting a filter, probably. Though I don't know about the 3.0. If you have the 4.2, I can give you a list of oil filters I got off this forum.
