Default Jaguar Stype Recalls???

Heyy I'm having a issue with my car not getting enough power, so I took it to the Jaguar dealer and they said my transmission was fine. Here is the issue, when I take off its slow, once my car goes into second gear the speed picks up. So I did some research and came across this.

So I'm wondering is this my issue?? Have any of you experienced this issue? Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated, thanks in advance.

Have you got one of those fitted? It's very very unlikely but take a look. That's the only way to know.

At a guess it's a 0.0001% chance it's anything to do with your problem.

I believe the recall had something to do with incorrect fitment of the filter possibly leading to a leak. Recalls are for safety purposes not substandard quality.

If the filter was the cause, the car would perform poorly in all gears not just first.

A filter installed in 2006 is probably due for replacement anyway.
