Jlr sdd for programming modules
Hello everyone I am at a stand still on my 2002 str
now have engine transmission diff and wiring done
But the original engine module was completely Corroded inside
When I took it out of crashed jaguar water started coming out of module
so I am going to try to use one from donor car
I have been trying to work out what software I need
I have looked at JLR SDD but it said from year 2005
I would prefer to just get one that would do both my 2002 and 2004
Thanking you

Be very careful 'throwing parts' at VID block cars.
The earlier cars were easier to get modules to communicate on the networks.
These later car modules can get corrupted and bad things happen.
Understanding the networks is tricky.

yes I know programming modules can be tricky
I have done a couple on my BMWS
using the icom A3
one thing I learned very fast is you need a good battery stabilizer to keep voltage levels over 12 volts
but yes jaguar is probably going to be a different ball game
but nothing Ventured nothing gained
Thanking you
