Hello and welcome!
Can you tell us how many miles and what price you paid??

Your best bet is some searching. We don't have very much for the STR.

Hi Tim. Congratulations on your new girl! If you check the threads you'll read a plethora of mod talk from intake to exhaust (I'm a frequent contributor). Definitely jump in on Mafioso's modded air intake elbow which he is now shipping us. It dyno'd at 13 hp @ 7 lb/ft trq. but is believed to help more than this, especially with a low restriction exhaust, etc.

Full exhaust mod, pulley, Mafioso intake tube, low temp thermostat, port and polish blower, K&N, and head job I think are the only mods I have been able to find or see for the STR. Then you can get into Meth. Maybe a LSD in the future as someone in the UK has got one to work in an STR. I think that might be everything if anyone can think of anything please chime in.
Almost forgot twin screw may be in our future also.

LOL probably should of made that a little more clear. Methanol injection and a limited slip differential for all you stoners out there thinking I was talking about something else. Meth and LSD might not make your car faster may end up making you slower or swerving to miss stuff thats not in front of you like unicorns.

You should see if you can get a Select Edition warranty on it. The engine in this car costs $15k to replace, so I wouldnt mess around with it too much. You wont really notice a difference with anything changed..

Boy you must crazy 15k to replace an STR engine,lolz...You need to go hunting for deals like a nice website I like and would recommend http://www.car-parts.com/ You can easily get one for around 6k or 7k. Or better yet just get a complete rebuilt one.

I meant for a new one, I would never put a used engine in an expensive car

08Z06, not to swerve this thread too much off topic; what warranty company do you use? I'm in the market for one.
