I finally found one, 2003 sunroof delete s type manual. Only second one over ever seen in 7 years of buying jags. Anyone know us production numbers. I’ve had bmw and Mercedes manuals as well as a couple of Porsches. Always thought this was my favorite set up and I’ve only driven them in x types. Wish it had one more gear but the gear shifts are so smooth

I only ever worked on two of them when I was at the dealer.
Kinda sad that the V8 was not offered with the manual gearbox.

 

A rare and hard to find car for sure! That manual transmission option was dropped quickly to never return. Same with the Lincoln LS.
Ah yes if only they had made a V-8 version. I can only imagine what a STR would drive like with a MT.

Good find. There are three in my small town and all came from Texas, Austin, College Station and Houston. They all have the sunroof unfortunately. How many miles on yours?
