Default Key Fob part question

Hey Guys!

The nice cat-face logo on my fob looks like this:

This is a part of the fob, pictured here:

What is this part called, and where can I get a new one with a pretty cat face on it?

Thanks!

I think the part number you need is C2S31067. You will find that you need a genuine jaguar item as the non jag replacement items do not come with this part, you have to re-use your old one. They are about £50.
This comes with the case and the key shaft.
That said the printed cat face does not last long. I think the later ones had an imbosed cat face???

But I could be wrong???
Any corrections are most welcome.

Default That would get me the part

Found the part here using the part number above (thanks Mellow!). It’s buried in the flip key assembly.
No way to tell if there is a printed or embossed cat face, I should probably assume it’s there as this is an OEM part.

Kind’ve pricey at 70, but I could transplant the part into
my fob. How vain am I lol 😂

You should be able to get a genuine one at less than that if you shop around using the part number.
Be warned I have never seen this part. It may have a printed cat face, a embossed cat face, or none at all!!
I strongly recomend you view before you purchase.
You may be able to see the item at your local jaguar dealers parts dept. if you have one, before you purchase. Try giving them a call they may well help you.

This is what you want but they are pricey for genuine parts.

Default Update x2

I had a flip key and fob bought through eBay, no cat face on the button.
I found an image online, printed it in the small size, glued it on the button and then covered it with a drop of epoxy resin. Only to find out this part did not fit with the OEM key! Lol
Looks good in the aftermarket fob, but it’s basically worthless.

Default Then I called the dealer...

Then I called the dealer, parts department happened to have an old fob from a 2007 customer who never picked it up. Said it had the cat face and I could have it for free!
Took everything apart, expoxy resin over the cat face button and put together a nice new flip key.

Basically a new key fob that is protected forever.
Epic Win!
