Key fobs won't work until they've been in the ignition?!?
Hi all,
Please help!?- I have a 2003 Jaguar S Type, neither key fobs will work after around half an hour or so.
If you use the key to gain access into the drivers door, the alarm sounds, put the key in the ignition and turn to position 1 the alarm stops and remove the key and all the key fob functions work again until the cars been left for another half an hour or so!
Do any of you have any ideas?
Both keys have had new batteries.
Jaguar diagnostics revealed no faults.
Thank you in advance.
Steve.

I'm pretty sure now that it isn't the drivers door module. As I have bought another online and both say 'offline' on the diagnostics. But when I put my door module into another s type it allows me to locate and program the part as normal.
Does anyone have an ideas?
Many thanks
Steve.
