Default At a Loss

Well I thought I had all of this fixed but after installing a new climate control I found out it's still a no go.

recap:
I replaced the heater valve because it was only blowing super hot air. This fixed the ploblem it now blows regulated heat and cold A/C.

I took apart the climate control it had several burnt traced I tried to repair them. What happened is a little bit of air blew out of the very end vents, no air out of the middle vents, very little out of the defrost. It blew super strong hot or cold out of the rear passenger vents.

I thought the climate control must have a short I missed, so I bought another working climate control and hooked it up. It does the exact same thing.

I am at a loss!
It has to be something that controls the vents, But what?

Please help
I took the glove box out just now and don't see anything unhooked.

Ok while I have the glove box removed I started car and pressed the mode button on the climate control. I could see the blender motor rods moving with each press of the mode button. I couldn't however hear the blender doors opening and closing. This has me stummped.

Help

Ok I was look at the blender door motor kinda bhind the radio, I think it controls the floor vents cos air is comming out of it. The blender door motor to the right of the glove box is doing nothing when I press the mode button. I bet this is the one that controls the vents. How can I test it?

Ok I think that one is ok as well it is the recirc. motor.

Now on to the next one, is it behind the instrument cluster?

I checked all the motors except 1. I am pretty sure that 1 is the one I need to replace.

How do I remove the instrument cluster?
I have searched but have come up short.
Any help appreciated.

Well I finally got the instrument cluster out. If anyone needs to know how just ask. The blender door motor I believe isn't working right. I played with the mode buttons while pushing the vents doors open. They were closed. I got them to open although I was able to get the motor to close the vents it would not reopen them.
I assume a gear is broken on the motor.
I went ahead and ordered a new motor, but I am dreading replacing it.. this is the hardest to get to motor of them all even with the cluster out..

PS if anyone needs a working dual climate control, I have a extra one...lol

Did you take any pictures when you took out the cluster?
I'm sure it would be useful.

Why not list your CCM in the for sale section, some one must need one.

Good luck with the new motor.

No I didn't take any pics this time, but when the new motor comes in I will do a step by step change out with pics.

I am sending you both the same message. I think you are both working towards the same resolution and could be comparing notes. You both have a lot of help and may be on a solution soon I hope.

Achysclik, I may need a DCC module. Been following your thread but wasn't able to offer additional help. You are brave and resourceful to attempt the repair and have moved through the paces wonderfully.
