Default Low volume on xm radio?

Hi guys. I activated my xm radio yesterday and there isn't nearly enough volume. I can almost have a conversation over the volume when the xm is maxed out. Is there any way to increase the volume on this? I'm listening to the radio at volume level 35 constantly and it's not enough.

BTW, this is the fm modulator type setup from jag.

Not uncommon. I have my Sirius wired using the direct connect via the FM antenna, and the volume is not really loud enough when maxed out. Same problem with my Saab, even using an actual AUX input jack rather than any type of modulator. Only 1 thing I know of that can help, and that is to max out the "Audio Level" adjustment in your satellite tuner. Should be in one of the menus of your device. Helps, but likely still will not be super loud, or loud enough. Only real solution may be adding more power via external amps.

Maybe another setting via the touchscreen (if you have it) and the Menu button?

I'll play with it a bit more and see if I can find an instruction manual online.

I understand it was an OE option so the manual may be where all the other handbooks are (see forum sticky) and thus free to download.

Try changing the fm station that xm is using. I had a similar problem, changing the FM frequency seemed to make it better.
