It is true, search the S Type section for lug nuts for a lot of info.

That is correct. Here's a link showing the style needed:

Go with Gorilla nuts!

Here are just some of the threads out there.

My nuts still look great.

I've switched to the Dorman lug nuts and am very happy with them. Others have gone to the Chrysler/Mitsubishi version. Both part numbers are in that message. Remember, when you do switch, make sure you get a new lug wrench to match, as the hex is a different size.

Thanks for the tip, just ordered the gorilla nuts. Got them from SFX Performance for $61.50 on their ebay store. That was for a set of 24. They sold sets of 20 on their web store (not ebay) for a few bucks cheaper, but charged shipping so it was the same price to just get 4 extra with the ebay purchase. Never hurts to have some extra nuts!

I have had the Dorman lug nuts for several years and they work good. However they are chrome plated and NOT stainless steel like I thought they were. I have a slight amount of rust on them now.

I've had the Mitsubishi lug nuts on my S-Type for nearly four years now. Zero rust, and they hold up well to the lug wrench. They were a bit more costly than the Dormans but have proved to be worth it in the long run....
