Just wondering if the lower intake from a 2004 Lincoln ls V6 is interchangeable with a 2004 jaguar s type V6

My guess, and this is only a guess, is "no" as the cylinder heads of the Jaguar version of the Duratec V6 are specific to that engine...

Perhaps someone else can answer more definitively...

Visually they look the same but the Lincoln one is considerably cheaper. I spun out 3 of the brass inserts, I would much rather replace the intake then try to repair the inserts.

If you are referencing the eBay listing from the seller in Texas, he is using the same pic for both listings...

The 2000-2002 Lincoln LS upper manifold has a total of 6 attaching points.. the lowner manifold shown has considerably more.

A pic of the LS upper manifold can be seen here:

There's a number of holes on the jag lower intake that aren't used

But your right, if the heads are different then there's a good chance the ports would be different and the Lincoln lower intake wouldn't work.

Really simple to fix the brass inserts. Clean both manifold holes and brass inserts. Epoxy inserts into manifold holes. Let dry, Bobs your uncle!
