HI All:

I got a weird problem on by 2005 s-type 3.0 jag.

Turned the car off tonite and went to leave. The chime remained on as is the lights were on? Made sure all switches were either on auto or off. Same thing.

Got out and sure enough, the side front & rear marker lites are on as well as the tail lites. As if the switch on the single lite leave was turned on. I get no warning other then the chime. I pulled relays and nothing. Everything seems to work just fine. no switches are on; however I can not get the lights to go off with out pulling the battery cable.

Any ideas ?

Common(ish) things:
1. water/damp in trunk (boot) - remove spare and check very carefully
2. faulty module(s) - usually GECM/RECM
3. corroded wiring - needs front bumper off to check harness thoroughly and if not there then in the wheel arches (wells)
