Ok, I can see all now

Not sure what a Mina grill is - do you have any pics of this grill?

As far as the bumper insert goes - take a look on eBay there's a few on there. For example the seller of this item number: 200609999574 has all the bumper inserts available. (although that is a UK based seller FYI)

I've got the standard STR grill in mine with a colour coded surround, I quite like it that way - but would like to see some pics of the upgrade grill you have in mind.

Here's mine:

Welcome to the forums.

I would search as suggested for a color matched grill. If you are in a rush, I would purchase the black grill and have it painted to match, the chrome would have to have more work done to be painted.

I suggest to get the one which would be the easiest to paint body color.

Stick with the original mesh grill - (my opinion of course)

The bumper inserts that guy has aren't just chrome, I believe he's using that eBay ad and saying he has loads of others in stock. So he may have one in your colour.

Besides which, it's easy enough to respray that chrome one. all it needs is a rub down to give the surface a "key" for the paint to stick too. A few coats of primer, then colour coat, then a few coats of clear, job done.

I colour a coded a chrome grill surround on my wifes Octavia vRS, looks waaaay better and was easy to do.

Tris.

They are quite large photos on the iPhone.

I put my iPhone4 photos on here by uploading them to photobucket.com first, then linking to them in this site. That works well.

I downloaded the photobucket app for the iPhone as well so you can take a pic, then upload straight to photobucket without mucking round. Then copy the link into your post on here! Happy Days

Check the cost of having your chrome inserts painted. Might be cheaper than finding some pre-painted parts that may not perfectly match your car.

Yup, exactly. And as I said previously, I've painted a chrome grill surround on my wife's car and as long as you sand down the surface to give it a key, you'll get a good finish.

I got the paint matched up in an aerosol can and did it all myself. Easy and satisfying!

diagram for removal?

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ics-faq-28534/

FYI- you don't need to remove the bumper skin to replace grill!
