Default misfiring while idle

Car accelerates just fine, no codes show up, but when sitting idle it runs rough and I can hear the misfires. Plugs were changed within the last 10k miles or so, and for the most part the coils are all new (changed at different times). Could it be an issue with fuel injectors?

I suppose it COULD be the injectors, but there are plenty other suspects such as EGR, PCV, and of course the fairly common air leak between air box & engine. And others.

I'd look at OBD live data and check the core (i.e. central) sensors for plausibility, check it's running CL (closed loop), then look at the fuel trims - and of course any codes.

Bear in mind even the battery can cause issues if it's failing - not saying it is because my idea is to get more data rather than immediately spend $$$.

You might want to run a can of Techron or other brand of fuel injector cleaner through your fuel system. I had a similar problem with my Audi A6 and it cured the problem. Also, like JagV8 said, look for air leaks.

I was being sarcastic; diesels don't have spark plugs...
