Unhappy my heater is blowing cold air...

2001 jaguar s type 3.0
my heater is blowing cold air, my coolant is well, but i checked the heater valve and unpluged it to see if it was getting any power i noticed it was not, because the fuse was blown, so i replaced it and when i click from or to the a/c button in the car the fuse burns.

It sounds to me like a wiring problem. The link below has 2001 S-Type electrical information you can look at. If that seems a bit too daunting, then I would recommend taking your car to a technician familiar with Jaguars.

You need a new dual climate control valve. They short internally, this is also what takes out the driver circuit for the climate control module too. But the valve is a normally open valve so unplugged with no poweror ground yields only heat. Your valves are stuck closed, another reason to get a new 1. Just make sure the ac isnt on when your blowing the fuse cause the ac compressor clutch is on the same circuit. Clutches blow the fuse too

well either dont press the ac button( you wont have good defrosting when the windshield fogs up though) You can pull the relay I think its R8 in the engine compartment fuse box if I remember. Then you wont have to worry about it coming on. but you still have the issue of no heat. cause those valves are normally open like I said. So if they werent stuck closed you would have heat right now
