Hello everyone! I was cleaning my rims the other day and i noticed what appeared to be a bushing of some sort that was starting to deteriorate. Im wondering if anybody knows the name of this part. It is in the rear driver side wheel! I have an attached picture. I definitely try to be proactive in taking care of my ride and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Wow! Thank you for the quick response! I just noticed the picture uploaded sideways! I wonder what the name of that bushing is called?

Yes it's the rear tie rod end. Not the control arm. Very common for these to look like that. I would only change it when you get noise. They provide a small amount of rear steering to the rear suspension.

If you are worried you can spray some grease in the boot.

Use silicone based grease or spray, they will not deteriorate the rubber.
