Default OBDII Scanner

Hey guys, want to pick up a scanner for my car (2005 STR) and want to know which one people are using or recommend.

I was looking at the Autel MaxiScan MS509 OBD-II/EOBD Scanner.

Is this sufficient for reading and clearing error codes?

Hi,

I'm also in Toronto.

I picked up an ELM 327 bluetooth based OBD reader. If you have a bluetooth enabled cell phone, you can find an app/software which will work to read codes, clear codes, diagnostics, etc.

You can find them on ebay for under $20, or you can pick one up locally for about $40 on toronto.kijiji.ca
