Observations on the seat track
An '03 V6 turned up in my local U-Pick, so I went down looking for targets of opportunity. I came away with a seat track, hoping I could get motors and drive units to keep until I needed them. I found that the motors are easy to remove, but the track drives were beyond my skill level. If my track drive fails, I guess I'm buying a seat track from Jaguar. I have learned that new motors are now available in the aftermarket so you don't have to buy the whole super-expensive seat track. I did a Google search, but was unable to locate anyone who rebuilds these things.
