Default OEM Parts (Online Shop).

Hi There,

I was wondering if different shops (including dealers and non dealers) have diff prices of same OEM Parts?

Any recommendation for any online shop which sells OEM Parts and accessories for good price? Please include their websites.

Also I'm looking to replace Windshield Wiper Blades' Inserts because one of them gets stuck and resists the windshield and its seems to start scratching the Windshield. My Question is: Are OEM Wiper Inserts (Come as Pair Part# C2C025329-30 for 2003-2005 for around 25-26$) good or you anyone has some better recommendation?

Thanks,
Rizwan

Our local Jaguar dealership charges practically double for parts and service what the next-closest Jaguar dealership does (about 70 miles away from me). I refuse to do business with them since I discovered this inexcusable discrepancy after our S-Type's factory warranty ran its course last year....

NAPA carries some wiper blade inserts that have worked very well on our S-Type since I installed them in early December 2009. They were less than $6 each. PIAA also makes and sells very good wiper blade inserts that have lasted 3 years or more on my wife's Lexus SUV. They typically sell for about $8 each....

Do you think these are better than OEM? Do the come in exact size or you have to cut/trim to fit them? I'll also check OEM's price again I think pair comes under $20 so that sounds good to me comparing to non OEM (unless NAPA or PIAA are better than OEM?)

Thanks a lot.

rizwan, I would not be doing my part as a moderator/spokesman for the forums if I did not recommend a few of our sponsors on this forum, all of them have their 'niche' in the quest for parts. Motorcars LTD (ask for Ken) has both salvage and new parts, Nalley Jaguar is very reasonable, offers a published 15% discount on parts for forum members along with free shipping for $25 orders and up (must speak with Dan in Parts) and Gaudin Jaguar of Las Vegas, which has an interactive parts system that I use ALOT. I like to spread around my purchases, especially if prices are reasonably close between them.

Excellent! don't forget to 'rotate' to the next sponsor (for a legitimate shot at least) to keep us all enjoying the benefits of a hub for us owners to talk shop.

Sure, Will do... Dan was so nice to communicate with. Last Week I ordered something through Dealer. That was not as good as Experience with Nalley.

Thanks for recommendation.

Nalley is very good to deal with! I have had Dan run multiple part numbers and send me numerous exploded parts diagrams trying to make sure I don't order the wrong thing.

I have now purchased about $1300 worth of parts and am a happy customer!
