You also need to disconnect the harnesses under the car on the right side (same side as the dccv). There are only two bolts that hold the shroud in.

There's a decent illustration of the harness connectors in the workshop manual. I use the pdf manual far more often as I don't want to get my laptop all greasy. I assume there's a link to it on the forum? If not I'll post one. It's 64 mb and 3316 pages, covers everything the jtis does(at least so far)

Hope that helps!
Mike
Yes, please post the link to that manual. Thanks.

Let me know if you need more info

Did you ever verify the size and type of fitting that connects the lines to the radiator? I cross threaded one and need to find the correct tap and die. This on my '05 XJ8, but with the 4.2 it should be the same (or at least a place to start).

Unfortunately I never did verify the size, I used the old fittings and spliced into the hard lines so didn't need them. I believe I checked the thread pitch and verified it to be 1.5 mm. I'm a machinist so I deal with threads all the time but can't say for absolute certainty.

Thanks for the reply. It seems you have a good eye. I was able to check with an 18mm 1.5 tap today, and it fit perfectly.
