I'm told that to replace the oil pan gasket that I should put the gasket in the groove on the engine block and then attach the oil pan. Question: will the oil pan gasket stick in the groove on the engine block? If so, this seems pretty straightforward. If it won't stick in the groove, this seems like it would be very difficult to do.

 

I didn't have any problems changing it. I just degreased the groove and pushed the gasket in.
