Default Oil on spark plugs

Ok fellas (and ladies), I seek your expertise. I have a 2003 S Type R. I took out two of my spark plugs today and there was oil in the chamber where the plug sits and also there was oil all over the end of the plug. The oil was clean and I recently did an oil change. I am thinking that I should have the valve cover gaskets and the head gaskets replaced. I only checked 2 of the plugs on the passenger side but I will also check the drivers side because I assume the problem is the same on that side.

Do you think this repair should eliminate the problem or do you think it may be something even worse. Thanks for any opinions you may have.

It's your valve cover gaskets. There are "ring" gaskets that are supposed to keep oil out of the spark plug wells that always fail after time. No need to change head gaskets.

Thanks. I ordered new gaskets and plugs and I will get them changed as soon as they get here. I'm going to have a mechanic change the gaskets because I don't want to mess it up.
