Default To owners of Jag service manual. Please let me know knock sensor resistance specs.

I got specs from ALLdata, I don't trust it. Resistance of my sensor is about 30-50% less. Hopefully I didn't remove manifolds for nothing.
I have 03 S-type 3.0 engine, ZF6hp26 transmission, VIN after m45***(after M45*** VIN, new transmission was used and some other changes.) Mine m49***.
Thanks.

You can download it free from this site. I've told you that before.

You can get it for almost nothing on ebay etc as well and a choice of formats.

It may or may not have the value (I never looked).

Would download JTIS has way more information than Alldata - anyway I just did a cursory search for Knock Sensor resistance for 2003 V6

"CHECK THE KS RESISTANCEDisconnect the KS electrical connector, PI20.Measure the resistance between pins 1 and 2 of the KS.Is the resistance 180 - 220 Kohms? INSTALL a new Knock Sensor."

Is "J" for January? Jamaica? Jiffy lube? Jeff?

aholbro1 you made me laugh with that one!

It won't hurt but one more time.

JTIS-Jaguar Technical Information Services or for us shade tree guys. The shop manual

JEPC-Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog or what us shade tree guys call the exploded parts manual. This is what the Jaguar parts guy looks at when he try's to order parts from our descriptions.

Both have different stuff and both are free. So get them and install them.
