Default Parking aid beeping

Just stopped the passive alarm from doing its own thing...disconnected it!!
Just when I thought it was safe to get back in the water, I now get a different beeping!
When I start the car in the morning I get several beeps that sound like the parking aid,
the beeps do there own thing only after over night parking, they carry on for about a minute then the car is fine and parking aid works fine.
As far as I can tell all the front sensors are working.
On my Chrysler 300 the parking aid does a test, 3 beeps form front and 3 beeps from rear to let you know system is working,
anyone know why the S-Type is beeping at start-up.

Hope it's a failing battery as otherwise it's probably the harness behind the front bumper.

Hi JAGV8,
I think your reply was about the passive alarm, (battery and Loom problems) I just decided to leave it disconnected.

My latest concern is a series of beeps that appear to be coming form the front parking aid, when I first start the car after being parked overnight.
multi beeps for a few minutes then works fine for rest of day.

Nope - same reply. Be afraid!

If you have the 2.7D wiring info (fairly hard to get, should be on jag's non-free TOPIX) you could go hunting for which wire might be loose/chafed.
