hi i've just purchased a 2004 s/type 2.7 diesel just wondering if some one could tell me how the parking sencors work co's seams some times they do some times they don't somtimes single tone sometimes beep really confusing anyone had simular issues?

 

If you read the owners manual they have a pretty good explaination. If you don't have yours you can download it from this site.

Have you checked for water in the boot?

The module is in the spare tyre well and can be effected, check the conection there also.

 

it all seams ok with the connections and is dry wonder if the module is faulty? thanks anyway.
