Default Pentosin AFT1

Any thoughts or has anyone tried Pentosin ATF 1? The NAPA by me just started carrying it. It says it is compatible with my ZF trans.

Just wanted to get some advice before I dive in.

Thanks

Have you considered Mercon SP as an alternative? It's readily available through Ford dealers and others have used it in place of the ZF Lifeguard 6.

Search for the ATF drain-and-fill threads from member "ccc". I believe he chose Pentosin ATF when he did his drain-and-fill about three years ago....

It's been posted many times but I use Claus at CTSC. Don't forget to do the full service. He has the kits at a good price. I just used the proper ZF fluid since it's come down in price a good bit.

Do you know about the other issues?? There is more to it than a simple fluid change. Reasearch it before you dive in. It will be worth your while!
